About this project

RA is a solar tapestry by Marjan van Aubel that uses the energy it collects to illuminate itself. WAUD developed the housing, supporting frame and electronics, then produced the parts and assembled two versions: one for the permanent collection of Centre Pompidou and one for Dutch Design Week 2025. Marjan van Aubel led the artistic design. Kelvin Godee contributed to the project, concept and design.
